Low Yat Park’s “Mark the park” Photography contest (“EVENT”)
Terms & Conditions
Eligibility:
1. The Creative Photo “Mark the Park” Contest (“Contest”) is organised by LYC Mall Sdn. Bhd. (“Organiser”) and shall be held from 31st December 2025 to 4th January 2026 (“Contest Period”) subject to the terms and conditions below (“Terms and Conditions”).
2. The Organiser may at its sole and absolute discretion extend the Contest Period at any time without any prior notice (“Extended Period”). Unless an Extended Period is announced, any entries received after the last day of the Contest Period (due to any reason whatsoever) shall be disqualified. Any participation in the Contest during the Extended Period (if any) shall be governed by these Terms and Conditions whichever applicable.
3. The following persons are not eligible to participate in the said Contest:
a. Permanent and contract employees of the Organiser or its subsidiaries or its affiliated companies including their respective immediate family members namely, parents, spouses, children and siblings; and
b. Representatives and/or agents (including advertising agents and contest management agents) of the Organiser including their respective immediate family members namely, parents, spouses, children and siblings.
The Contest & Submission:
4.0 All contestants are required to complete the following steps to participate in the Contest:

Step 1
Take a creative photo within Low Yat Park. The subject or theme of the photo is at the contestant’s discretion.
Step 2
Like and follow Low Yat Bukit Bintang official social media page on Facebook or Instagram.
Step 3
Upload the photo to the contestant Facebook or Instagram account, include the hashtag #LowYatPark & #Hello2026 in the post caption; and ensure the post is set to public.
4.2 Contestants may post up as many photos as they wish. One (1) valid posting is equivalent to One (1) entry. The higher the number of entries submitted, the higher the chances of winning. Incomplete, incorrect or ineligible entries are automatically disqualified.
4.3 Completed Entry/ Entries must be posted up before 11:59pm, on 4th January 2026 or the last day of the Extended Period (if any).
4.4 The Organiser will not be held liable for Entry/Entries that are not received, damaged or lost during delivery process. These Entry/Entries shall be considered void.
4.5 The Organiser reserves the absolute right to reject Entry/Entries at its sole and absolute discretion without having to assign any reason whatsoever.
Prizes:
5.1 The prizes for the Contest are as follows:
5 x RM100 Low Yat Bukit Bintang Cash Voucher x 10 winners (Redeemable at selected stores in Plaza Low Yat, Low Yat Park, Federal Arcade, The Federal Kuala Lumpur & Hotel Capitol).
5.2 Each contestant is entitled to win one (1) Prize only in respect of the Contest. Prizes shall be collected within two (2) weeks after the announcement of the winners as stated below (“Deadline”).
5.3 The cash vouchers must be collected in person from the Organiser’s office located at Lot 4-008, Level 4, Plaza Low Yat, No. 7, Jalan Bintang, Off Jalan Bukit Bintang, Bukit Bintang Central, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, unless advised otherwise, by the Deadline. Failing which, the said grand prize will be forfeited. Identification via NRIC, or passport, which displays the full name and a photograph of the Winner will be required.
5.4 Only contestants who fulfill the Contest requirements as stated above shall be eligible to win any of the Prizes. Incomplete entries and/or Participants who failed to fulfill the said Contest requirements will automatically be disqualified from the Contest without notice.
5.5 The Organiser reserves the right to substitute any of the Prizes with that of similar value at any time at its absolute discretion without prior notice and all Prizes are non-transferable to another individual and absolutely non-negotiable.
5.6 In the event, for any reason whatsoever, any of the winners is unable to collect his/her prize within the Deadline, such prize shall be forfeited and the Organiser shall not be liable to reimburse or compensate such winner. The Organiser shall not be obliged to give any extension notice of the Deadline (if any), any decision to extend shall be at the absolute discretion of the Organiser).
5.7 All Prizes are given on an “As Is” basis and are not exchangeable, transferable or redeemable for cash, credit, other items or voucher, in part or in full.
5.8 All winners’ will be announced on Plaza Low Yat’s social media pages within three (3) weeks after the Contest Period / Extension Period (if any) ends (‘Notification Period”), and such winners’ will be notified via Facebook Messager or Instagram Direct Message. In the event that any of the Winners did not receive any notification from the Organiser during the said stipulated time period, such winner is required to contact the Organiser via Facebook Messenger or Instagram Direct Message within one (1) week from the end of the Notification Period, failing which, his/her Prize will be forfeited. The Organiser reserves the right to use any other method or medium it deems fit at its sole and absolute discretion for the purpose of announcing the winners.
5.9 The Organiser shall not be held liable in the event the Winners cannot be contacted for whatever reasons after at least three (3) attempts over three (3) days to collect their respective prizes.
5.10 The Organiser reserves the rights but not obliged to appoint a third party to conduct the verification of winners and to fulfill the delivery of prizes. All winners shall agree that the Organiser may provide all necessary information of Winners to such third party to facilitate such service.
5.11 The judges’ decisions are final and no correspondence/dispute in respect of the same will be entertained.
5.12 The Organiser reserves the rights to forfeit the prize of any winner who does not provide the required details wherever stipulated or as required under the Terms and Conditions herein.
5.13 Notwithstanding item 5.6 above, under special circumstances and subject to the absolute discretion of the Organiser, a winner may nominate a designated representative to collect the Prize. The representative will be required to present a written authorisation letter from the Winner and photocopy of Winner’s NRIC (front & back).
5.14 In the event that any of the Winners chooses not to accept his/her Prize, they therefore forfeit any and all claims to that Prize, which shall thereafter be dealt with by the Organiser as it deems appropriate at its absolute discretion.
5.15 In the event the Organiser has a prize giving ceremony, each winner is required to attend at his/her own cost and expense to collect his/her Prize. In the event any of the winners is not able to attend the prize giving ceremony, such winner must nominate a representative to be present at the prize giving ceremony to accept the prize on his/her behalf otherwise the Organizer shall re-select the winners. The representative will be required to present a written authorisation letter from the Winner and photocopy of Winner’s NRIC (front & back).
Other Terms & Conditions:
6.1 Contestants and Winners shall assume full liability and responsibility in case of any liability, mishap, injury, damage, claim or accidents [including death] resulting from their participation in the Contest, redemption and/or utilisation of the respective prizes and agree to release and hold the Organiser and its Prize partners free and harmless of any liability.
6.2 All transportation, accommodation, personal costs and/or any other costs, fees and/or related expenses that are incurred to participate in the Contest and to redeem the Prize is the sole responsibility of the Contestant(s) and/or Winner(s).
6.3 The Organiser reserves the right to use the names and/or photographs of the Contestants and other personal details (if any) as materials for the purposes of advertising, trade and/or publicity, consent thereof is deemed given by the Contestants by participating in this Contest. The Contestants shall not be entitled to claim ownership or other forms of compensation on the said materials.
6.4 The Organiser reserves the absolute right to change, amend, delete or add to the Terms and Conditions herein at any time without prior notice.
6.5 By participating in this Contest, Contestants agree to be bound by the Terms and Conditions of the Contest as herein stated and the decision(s) of the Organiser.
